Esta semana participei do VSMM2014 – 20th International Conference on Virtual Systems & Multimedia. VSMM é uma conferência com foco em pesquisas sobre imagem 3D, modeling, criações multimídia e design. O tema deste ano foi “Imagem e Arquivo” e buscou projetos em diversas áreas como: Imagem científica, Cultura e patrimônio, Visualização de informação, Artes e design, Avanços tecnológicos.
Apresentei o artigo “Electrotravelgram: Data Art & DIY Sensors” na seção Creative Arts & Design moderada por Harold Thwaites diretor do Centre for Creative Content and Digital Innovation. Também fizeram parte desta seção Elke Reinhuber com o artigo “Augmented Reality and How to Access Archived Media Art” e Takashi Kiriyama com “Designing Behaviors of Mobile Robots for Museum Exhibits”.
O evento promoveu diversos workshops em temas variados de captação de imagem e produção multimídia. Participei do workshop de Aerial Drone minstrado por Delas Santano do Centre for Creative Content & Digital Innovation (CCCDI), University of Malaya. Experimentamos com a parte técnica de voar um drone para produção audiovisual, pré-produção e pós-produção dos vídeos.
